Make Applicant Tracking Work Efficiently for You
I recently implanted applicant tracking software for my company, and there are a number of learning’s to be had from such a project. Firstly, I would recommend networking with individuals and companies in your own industry to see what works for others. It will give you a better idea of what questions to ask suppliers when you get to meet them. Another thing to bear in mind is the after-service provided. It is of little use choosing the vendor that has the lowest implementation costs, if the additional and post-sale costs are higher than you have budgeted for.
Once you have chosen your vendor of choice, have your legal team examine the terms and conditions very closely. For example, we agreed a 3 year contract, but when we examined the contract, it stated that it was a three year deal, but that only a failure to deliver on a promised service would prevent an automatic renewal.
